Susan Sneider is an internationally recognized consultant in the legal and financial services industries. The well-known author of the American Bar Association's best-seller, The Lawyers Guide to Networking, she is also one of the authors of the seminal West/ACC 5-Volume Treatise, Partnering Between Inside and Outside Counsel.

Ms. Sneider’s clients include Fortune 500 companies, AmLaw100 firms, top-tier United Kingdom and Canadian law firms, government agencies, financial service firms, trade associations, nonprofit organizations, law schools and legal vendors. She coaches and consults to CEOs, General Counsel, Managing Partners, Executive Directors, Marketing & Business Development Professionals and law school deans.

Ms. Sneider served as General Counsel of Turtle Wax, Inc and as the Director of Client & Business Development for a 150-attorney Chicago-based law firm. She was a senior consultant at Hildebrandt International and was a faculty member of the Hildebrandt Institute. Ms. Sneider practiced complex civil litigation and transactional law. She has also taught legal and technical writing at the graduate and undergraduate levels.

For over twenty years, Ms. Sneider has presented for the ABA, ACC, TMA, NAWL and ALA conferences on management, business development, leadership and networking. Her presentations include The Lawyer’s Conferences and European Legal Summits from 1999-2009 in Monte Carlo, Barcelona, Lisbon and Rome where she spoke on becoming a more trusted advisor, elevating the role of the legal department, networking, and strategic planning. Ms. Sneider has been featured in
The Lawyer’s Masterclass series in London as well at the LexisNexis UK Professional Education series of Profitable Business Strategies for Law Firms.

Ms. Sneider serves as the Teaming Coach for the innovative LawWithoutWalls program, including speaking at its Kickoffs in Dublin, Madrid and Harvard Law School and serving as a judge in its ConPosiums in Miami. She works with hundreds of global business and law students and their academic and professional mentors on issues of emotional intelligence, leadership and teamwork.

Ms. Sneider graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Brandeis University and received her JD from Boston College Law School. She serves on the advisory boards for the Medical University of South Carolina’s Neuroscience and the Chicago-based Literature For All of Us.
