Larry A. Marks
Larry A. Marks is an internationally recognized expert in business development, marketing, change management, executive coaching and branding.
He has collaborated with some of the world’s largest financial services organizations and Fortune 500 companies, as well as prominent law organizations. His consulting and presentation work has taken him across the United States, Europe, and Latin America, establishing him as a thought leader in his field.
Regarded as one of the nation's foremost executive coaches, Mr. Marks has guided numerous C-suite professionals over the past 20 years. He is recognized as an expert in helping organizations navigate change and manage conflict effectively. His engagements include speaking at over 2,000 seminars, conferences, and forums, he has published extensively on these critical topics.
As a Director at PricewaterhouseCoopers Consulting, Mr. Marks managed consulting engagements both nationally and internationally, working with companies across various industries. His areas of focus included change management, internal client relations, leadership, organizational design, business development and skills growth.
In addition to his consulting work, Mr. Marks has held several academic positions. He served as the Academic Program Co-Coordinator for the Treasury Management Series at the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina, originally offered through Duke University. He was also the Academic Co-Coordinator at the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley, where he facilitated executive training. He has been a faculty member and program leader for the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin and delivered lectures at The Wharton School.
Most recently Mr. Marks served as the Chief Operating Officer and Senior Executive Vice President of Republic Bank of Chicago. His prior roles include Executive Vice President of Selz/Seabolt Communications, Inc.—one of the nation's oldest marketing communications organizations—and President of Phoenix-Hecht, where he led a partnership with The Gallup Organization to deliver syndicated market research.
Mr. Marks earned his MBA from the Walter E. Heller Graduate School of Business at Roosevelt University in Chicago and is a founding member of the Association of Financial Professionals, underscoring his commitment to advancing professional standards in finance and consulting.
